Welcoming in the New Year allows us to sit back and ponder over the past year and learn from the mistake which we have made and caring them into the new year. Although the calendar starts with a clean slate things that are done during the past year are not wiped away.
How nice it would be if all our regrets, mistakes and misery just could be wiped away when ever the ball dropped. I guess if this were to happen then it would make things to easy for all of us and we wouldn't learn from our mistakes.
I have decided to take 2 things with me into the New Year and make them my resolutions.
1) I am going to learn from my mistakes
2) I am going to live a healthier lifestyle. One of my goals for this healthier lifesyle is to take off 25 pounds. We'll see.
I hope everyone has had a great start to a new year.

Baby Update
Well, today was our first doctor's visit for this pregnancy. All went well. Officially, unofficially the due date is August 5th, 2007. We go in next Tuesday for our first ultra sound and will have a clearer picture of when the due date is. That's all for now.

Fairly Flabbergasted Friday
Today is Fairly Flabbergasted Friday. On Sunday we went with our great friends to get our Christmas tree from Galehouse, it was a fun time but it was weird cutting a Christmas tree down in short sleeves. On to the pictures..........
Elise was trying really hard to cut the tree with me.
She was getting right in the middle of it all.
She was getting right in the middle of it all.
Our tree with out decorations. (Obviously)
After the tree was decorated I went out to get some Taco Bell, when I came back I found Delilah laying on the floor with her foot and hands up trying to hold the tree up so it wouldn't fall. Apparently she was trying to move the tree on her own and it started to fall. She said she had been like that for a few seconds. She yelled for me to help but I couldn't resist taking a picture of the whole situation.
I was in the basement with Jude doing laundry while Delilah was at her pottery class; we heard a thump and Jude asked me what it was. I told him it was probably Molly jumping of the counter or something. When we went upstairs to take Jude to bed we found the tree on the floor in the living room. As Jude was helping me clean up the mess, he said, "dad, the tree was beautiful, but now it's not." I told him that mommy will make it beautiful again. And she did.
