Ball Aerobics

Today Delilah and I went to work out at the local Y, we (she) decided on ball aerobics for us to partake in together for this session of classes. I had no idea what this class was about. I was nervous to say the least. So we walked into the class together and I am the only guy. There are like 6 of us all together, I am kind of glad it is smaller class. Less people to embarrass myself in front of. I was always a step behind the instructor. About 5 minutes into the class I looked over to Delilah and told her "You owe me." I'm thinking about picking out the next series of our class. How does power lifting sound? I think I am going to enjoy this class, I didn't know how out of shape I really was. I already knew I was not flexible and this class proved it to me even more. I guess you have to work hard to get back into shape.

A New Year

Well, I am sure, if you keep reading this blog, that you think I have fallen off the face of the earth. Don't worry. I am still here. You have kept up with Delilah's blog you know that I've been given more responsibilities at work. This is a good thing. This also keeps me busier. I am handling it well so far and I think Delilah is as well. I can not believe that it is 2008 already. Time does fly by. I think the year goes by quicker now than ever before. It seems just like yesterday Delilah and I were getting prepared to go on our honeymoon cruise in the Caribbean. Look at us now. We have 3 children and seem to be busier than ever. So if you are reading this, thanks for staying with me. I will try to keep you posted about what's new and exciting in my life.

The "contest"

My boss started this contest earlier in the year. He gave all the sales guys projections for sales. The person that sells the highest percentage over their projected sales wins. What do they win??? Well, a trip to Mexico. That is great. Unfortunately at the time I wasn't involved in the contest. Now things have changed. I have my own account and the contest rules have changed a little. Last week he told me if I meet a specified goal by March (the end of our fiscal year) that I would win a trip (with the wifey) to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Woo Hoo. There would be a group of us. Isn't that exciting. Delilah said she isn't getting her hopes up. I am. I may even buy travel insurance.

Going to the Gym

We need to go to the gym. My employer pays for my family to have a pass to the YMCA. We rarely use it. We should go more often. I am not sure why we don't. I guess we just don't have enough time. I was getting up and going in the mornings. Well, I did that for like two weeks. Now I can't seem to get out of bed early enough. Delilah said I should go to the gym in the mornings and also take my shower there to save money on water. LOL. It would be better to go in the evenings but by time we eat dinner and clean up it is almost time for the kids to go to bed and then we are just plain tired. I guess if we want to lose weight we will have to try miracle burn.
